Common Questions About The First Horseman

Straight answers to the questions I am asked most

People come to this book from every direction. Some are curious, some are skeptical, and some arrive ready to argue. Wherever you are coming from, you deserve a clear answer. Here are the questions I am asked most, and my honest replies.

Is this the official teaching of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

No. This book is my own study of prophecy. I do not speak for the Church, and the Church has not endorsed it. The Church speaks for itself through its prophets and apostles, whose authority is far above mine. I follow them, and where my understanding ever differs from theirs, theirs is correct.

Are you saying Donald Trump is the Messiah, or somehow divine?

No. Jesus Christ is the only Savior of mankind. This book describes a temporal role in prophecy and nothing more. I would never put any man in Christ's place, and I have been careful never to blur that line.

Is this a cult? Are you starting a movement?

No. I am a member of an established faith, writing my own study of scripture. I am not asking anyone to follow me. I am asking people to study the scriptures for themselves and reach their own conclusions.

Isn't it dangerous, or too political, to connect a sitting president to prophecy?

I am not running a campaign, and I am not telling anyone how to vote. I am sharing how I read scripture. You are free to weigh it, and free to disagree.

What if you are wrong?

Then set the book aside. I have asked everyone to confirm these things for themselves rather than take my word, precisely because the words of living prophets always come first, and mine are only my own. I could be wrong about any part of it. That is why I keep pointing you back to the scriptures and to the prophets, and not to me.
